How Does NFC Technology work?

We human beings like to share with each other very much, and since memorial times we have done it, so with technological advances, everything has advanced, such as with NFC Technology.

Well, through this Techy2tech technology, two devices can share fragments of information data in a short-range but at a high frequency, something that is very simple and practical at the same time.

What is NFC Technology

When we talk about Near Field Communication (NFC), we refer to its translation as Near Field Communication, which is a system widely used in recent years by companies engaged in the purchase of goods and services.

It is a very practical technology and it has been used daily, as it is already integrated with traveler cards, smart cards, as well as in some smartphones with Android or Windows systems, among others.

How NFC Technology Works

To understand the operation of NFC Technology, we have to see it from various points of view, the first is that the capabilities of NFC technology are now more relevant, particularly when it comes to mobile payments.

And it is that with this technology, two devices placed a few centimeters from each other, can exchange data, however for this to take place, the two devices must be equipped with an NFC chip.

In the same way, technology can be used basically in two ways, the first one implies that both devices can read and write to each other, that is, the user can pair two Android devices to transfer data.

This data can be contact information, links, or images, it is what is also known as two-way communication, but the NFC can also function as a powered device.

Which can be a telephone, a travel card terminal, or a credit card reader, which reads and writes on an NFC chip, and thus, when the traveler card is touched on the terminal, the terminal with an NFC chip subtracts the money from the balance written on the card.

Advantages of NFC Technology

We can say that, unlike Bluetooth that allows us to do something similar, NFC technology consumes much less energy, which is essential considering that one-day mobile devices will replace wallets.

That is why then the battery life would be more important than ever, at the same time, pairing two devices via Bluetooth represents a lot of waste of time.

And is that at some point, most people will be paying for their things with their mobile phones, so that NFC technology could become the ticket of the future.

For the rest, there are already many retailers that are incorporating payment terminals based on NFC.
